The 2013 Vincennes University commencement is Saturday, April 27th at 2:00 p.m.

You can watch the live broadcast on WVUT 22. The ceremony will also be streamed Live on wvut.org. A rebroadcast of the ceremony will air on WVUT 22.2 on Sunday, April 28th at 4:00 p.m.

VINCENNES, Ind. - Brent R. Magruder has been appointed associate director of Vincennes University Admissions, according to an announcement from Heidi Whitehead, director of Admissions.

Magruder has served as assistant director of Admissions since May 2010 after joining the staff as a counselor in 2008.  He previously served as an admissions representative at Oakland City University.  He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Oakland City University.  His master’s degree thesis evaluated perceptions of first-year student satisfaction at a selected two-year college.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Two Vincennes University programs and eight students are the recipients of Indiana Career and Technical Education Awards for Excellence.  The awards were presented April 16 at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis.

Both Indiana Governor Mike Pence and Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz spoke at the ceremonies.  VU President Dick Helton served as master of ceremonies for the awards luncheon.

All of the speakers congratulated the award recipients for excelling in career and technical education.  Pence said that career and technical education will be a major contributor to future economic development in Indiana.

Vincennes University's College of Technology is hosting a FREE Summer Camp, Fearless Females.
Camp dates are June 17th - 21st, 2013 and June 24th - 28th, 2013.

Undecided about what you want to “do when you grow up”?  That time is rapidly approaching!  Fearless Females focuses on challenging high school females to think outside the box by introducing them to traditionally male-oriented fields with hands-on workshops and field-trips.
