We're looking forward to having you on campus for the fall 2013 semester and Vincennes University is offering our one day registration program, START VU to all new students this summer.
Our June START VU dates are Tuesday through Saturday, June 11 – 15 and June 18 – 22, 2013. Check-in is from 8:30am - 9:15am in the Beckes Student Union and you can expect to be on campus until mid afternoon. During our START VU program representatives from Financial Aid, Parent Services, Food Services, and the Housing office will be available to meet with you and answer question. You will be asked to complete an Academic skills assessment (placement test), meet an academic advisor and register for classes.

Important notice!
All students are required to take an Academic Skills assessment at Vincennes University. You now have the option to take this test early – before your START VU date. If you take the test before the day you register, your time spent during registration will be reduced. The test takes about 1 to 1 ½ hours to complete. Students who have not taken the Academic Skills assessment test prior to registration will take the test on the day they report for our START VU program.
Our staff will gladly assist you in making arrangements if you require special accommodations for a disability. You must call V.U.’s Office of Disability Services at 812-888-4501 at least three weeks prior to the testing date to make arrangements.
Parents are Welcome!
While it is important that students begin doing things on their own, this is not necessarily one of them. With all of the the information given during STARTVU, it is always good to have "extra ears" to help navigate the process. Parents will spend part of the day with their student and part of the day in a special Parent & Family Session. VU believes it is important for parents to be involved.
Overnight accommodations are available on campus in Clark Hall at $15.00 per person/per night. Reservations are not required but you may call 812-888-4283 with questions.
