Industrial Technology - Purdue University
Vincennes University students completing AS degrees in computer integrated manufacturing, product design and production processes, machine trades technology, electronics technology, or bio-medical electronics technology can pursue a bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology (IT) from Purdue University at the Vincennes University Campus.
There is nearly a 100 percent placement rate for graduates of Purdue's Industrial Technology degree with average starting salaries of $51,000.

Passport to IUPUI Scholarship
Admission-based Scholarship for Resident Transfer Students: This scholarship will serve to strengthen our connection to Indiana’s community colleges while encouraging more students to complete their four-year degrees at IUPUI.
Passport to IUPUI Scholarship (Admission-based): This $1,500 annually /renewable scholarship for up to four semesters is available to all students who transfer to IUPUI within one year of completing an Associate’s degree (A.A., A.S. or A.A.S.) from either Ivy Tech or Vincennes University. The scholarship would be automatically offered at the point of admission to IUPUI. Recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3. The scholarship is renewable if the student maintains a GPA of at least 3.0 and continuous fulltime enrollment in an IUPUI campus-based program. Deadline for IUPUI admission application and scholarship eligibility – May 15th for fall admission and November 15th for spring admission.
One Admission Two Universities - University of Southern Indiana
Concurrent admission fitting two universities into one plan. Start with one plan, and finish with two degrees. An associate degree from Vincennes University can prepare you for a smooth transition to a baccalaureate degree from the University of Southern Indiana.
Over 40 programs have faculty approval, including majors in Business, Communication, Education, Health Services, Liberal Arts, Nursing, Science, and Social Work.
To qualify for concurrent admission, a student must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher and choose a VU major from the approved list of programs.
To continue in the program students must:
- Successfully complete 24 credits each year
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA at VU
- Complete 75 percent of courses attempted each semester

This partnership allows students to be able to transfer easily from Vincennes University to Indiana State University, it also allows students to be enrolled at both Vincennes University and Indiana University, and it allows for students who were denied admission to Indiana State to go to Vincennes University to work towards being accepted at Indiana State University.
