African Culture Night is Sept. 27

VINCENNES, Ind. - The culture of Africa will be celebrated at an International Banquet on Sept. 27 at Vincennes University’s Green Activities Center. Tickets are available now for the event which begins at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The program will include presentations by two VU international students, Dlamini, Mothusi Thabela from Swaziland and Selam Belete Kelil from Ethiopia.

Members of the community may purchase tickets for just $5. VU employees and students are eligible for free tickets upon presentation of a VU ID. Tickets are on sale at the VU Bookstore.

The menu will include Tunisian Roasted Pork with Dates and Apricot Sauce, Seafood Rice Jollof, Chipotti Roasted Yams, Braised Purple Cabbage with Apples, Moroccan Grilled Vegetables, and Couscous Fruit Salad.
