VINCENNES, Ind. - A Blues Night Coffeehouse will be presented by the Vincennes University Department of Music on October 11, 8 p.m. (EDT), at Jefferson Union. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

The concert will feature music of the Moody Blues, Otis Redding, and assorted blues and classic rock.  Special guest performers include Chris Coatney, Kylee Coatney, Scott Mercer, and Virgil Franklin.

VU music students will be featured performing guitar, vocals, drums, percussion, cello, and in in the String Ensemble. Students are under the direction of Dave Parman, associate professor of music.
