3rd Annual Phillip M Summers Innovative Teaching Summit
April 5, 2019

We are excited for the third installment of the Summit! We hope you will consider joining us!

The Summit has been established for teachers, current and future, at all levels. We hope to achieve the following:

  • Provide attendees with an effective learning experience
  • Help teachers network and make new connections with other educators
  • Provide attendees with new ideas and techniques for improving their teaching
  • Energize and motivate teachers; get you excited about being a teacher and returning to your classroom

Several activities/presentations are being planned for April 5, 2019 (schedule available here).

Our keynote speaker will be the 2015 Indiana Teacher of the Year, Kathy Nimmer.

(her bio is available here)

Concurrent sessions will run 30 minutes with four occurring simultaneously. A schedule will be available soon.

A technology "playground" will be included, where educators will share innovative ways of integrating technology into classroom learning (if you would like to participate in the playground as a presenter, please consider submitting a mini-grant proposal for technology that you would be interested in including with your students, a link to the proposal form can be found in the lefthand menu).

Innovative educator awards will be presented throughout the Summit. We are looking for nominations for these awards (the link to a nomination form can also be found in the lefthand menu). Please consider nominating someone you feel is an innovative educator.

Thank you again for joining us!
