State-of-the-Art Facilities:Instruction takes place in VU’s College of Technology on the Vincennes main campus, which includes:
- The Hurco Training Center (HTC) featuring the latest CNC machine tool technologies.
- Access to cutting-edge equipment, made possible through VU’s corporate alliance with Hurco Companies of Indianapolis, IN.
- Students program, machine, and inspect 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis projects in the CAD/CAM lab using the latest version of Mastercam CAD/CAM Software.
- Projects focus on high-speed machining and are developed in collaboration with industry leaders in die making, mold making, aerospace, medical, and motorsports industries.
- Students participate in manufacturer site visits and seminars presented by industrial partners, offering first hand exposure to cutting-edge practices and technologies.
