Indiana College Core

Indiana College Core

What is the Indiana College Core (ICC)?

The Indiana College Core (ICC)  is a 30 credit hour certificate of graduation offered by Vincennes University. It consists of a 30 credit hour block of general education courses that cover six competency areas. The successful completion of the ICC permits transfer to other Indiana public colleges or universities as established by the Senate Enrollment Act 182 (2012).

The completion of the ICC could be equivalent to the completion of your first year in college. So if you're taking Vincennes University classes in high school through Dual Credit or Dual Enrollment (see the difference - link to the page that explains the difference), and you complete the Indiana College Core, you could earn your first year of college credits before you graduate high school!

The Core is offered at more than 200+ Indiana high schools as well as online.
