Vincennes University Jasper (VUJ) Foundation is proud to offer local students the Scholastic Excellence Award. This one-year, full-ride scholarship is available to high school graduates with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5, or above. Recipients must attend classes full­ time on the Jasper campus during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Scholarship includes:

• Full tuition (up to 15 credits per semester) and regularly assessed fees for one year at the Jasper Campus.
• VUJ bookstore voucher worth up to $500 per semester (Fall and Spring) toward course required books
• Laptop computer 

Scholarship criteria:

• Graduate from an Indiana high school in Dubois, Crawford, Orange, Perry, Harrison, Martin or Spencer County during the 2024-2025 academic year with an academic or technical honors diploma
• Achieve a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5, or above
• Apply for admission to VU Jasper by January 15, 2025
• Accepted into the University by priority deadline of March 1, 2025
• Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2025
• Must qualify for in-state tuition rate

Criteria to maintain scholarship:

• Maintain a semester GPA at VUJ of 3.0, or above
• Must be a full-time degree seeking student on the Jasper Campus during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters
• Participate in 10 internship or clinical hours each semester during the 2025-2026 academic year

This is a competitive scholarship with limited awards available. All other scholarships and grants, but not loans, will be applied to the recipient's account prior to this scholarship.
