Student Activities offers a variety of ways to get involved with the Vincennes University campus.

You can join one of our clubs and organizations, help plan the Student Activities events, volunteer, and much more.

Some of the events we offer are concerts, hypnotists, open mic nights, carnivals, mentalists, and many others.

ABT - AG CLUB

Advisor: Jennifer Steffy

The purpose of this club is to promote the profession of agriculture, to sponsor agricultural activities, develop a spirit of fellowship among its members, to furnish a medium of contact with the agriculturalists of the State and the Nation, and to act as an official agent of the agriculture students in university matters.

ARCHITECTURE CLUB

Advisor: Anna Bowens

The architecture club at VU serves to provide students with a creative and educational platform to explore, discuss, and engage with the field of architecture.

AUTO CLUB

Advisor: Bill Butler

The Auto Club is committed to creating a community where car and truck fanatics can feel at home. They host a car show during Blazerfest and reach out to the community. They use a portion of the proceeds from the car show to give back to the community or other charitable organization. The club provides educational opportunities to members, such as trips and tours of automotive related events or facilities.

BASS FISHING CLUB

Advisor: Eric Doane

The purpose of the bass fishing club is to bring together students who share a passion for the sport of bass fishing. The club provides opportunities for members to enjoy recreational fishing outings and competitive tournaments amongst their peers.

Biology Club

Advisor: Andrew Corless

The biology club is for any student interested in life. We like to get out and enjoy nature. We enjoy camping and hiking and service projects. Each year we do a big trip in May and we have gone to places like Yosemite National park and Monterey Bay, CA, The amazon rainforest in Peru, The US Virgin Islands, Yellowstone, The grand canyon, Olympic national park nad this year we are planning to go to Iceland.

BLAZER CATHOLIC

Advisor: Mistene Halter

The purpose of the Blazer Catholic Newman Center is to provide students the opportunity to encounter Christ, equip disciples, and awaken the hope of salvation. Through Bible studies, small group community, service projects, and social events, the club aims to bring the Gospel to life through the living traditions of Catholic Christianity.

The purpose of the business professional club at Vincennes University is to help foster a community of aspiring business leaders and empower students to explore different career paths, gain practical experience, and prepare for success in the dynamic world of business and entrepreneurship.

The purpose of the Cadet Corps. Club is to actively support the VINCENNES UNIVERSITY POLICE DEPARTMENT and Vincennes University through maintaining the safety and security of campus and students.

The purpose of the Ceramics Club is to allow an educational and creative outlet for students, faculty, and staff. The members of the Ceramics Club will be educated on the process of making, working, firing, and using clay.

The purpose of the cheer club is to allow students to develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Members of the club participate in a variety of activities such as practicing and performing cheers, chants, and routines at sporting events, pep rallies, and community functions.

The Christian Campus Fellowship is a supportive community where students can grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of Christian beliefs, and engage in spiritual practices. Through activities such as Bible studies and service projects, the club aims to foster spiritual growth, encourage fellowship, and promote Christian values on campus.

The Conservation Law Club is for students who share a passion for the outdoors and the conservation of our natural resources.  Whether it is hunting and fishing or hiking and biking, we all have a part to play when it comes to caring for and protecting our natural resources.  Through both fun outdoor activities and also various service projects, our students develop a sense of community as well as friendships that last a life time.

The Magic: The Gathering club is a gathering of enthusiasts passionate about the iconic trading card game. Members come together to play, discuss strategies, organize tournaments, trade cards, and foster a welcoming community for all levels of players, from beginners to seasoned veterans.

The pre-vet club here at VU is all about supporting students interested in pursuing careers in veterinary medicine. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Club's mission is to spread awareness of the Physical Therapist Assistant occupation, create networking amongst student life, and practice and collaborate future skills within the physical therapy realm. Membership is open to Vincennes University students, faculty/staff who are pursuing or hope to pursue a degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or who have a passion for the Physical Therapy profession.

Purpose is to bring together students enrolled in the VU Surveying Technology major. The goals are to create an atmosphere for students to build friendships and networks with each other that they can utilize currently and continue beyond graduation from VU.
