CHILD DEVELOPMENT, A.S.C.T.

Students can earn an associate degree in Child Development, which prepares graduates to operate a home-based childcare center or to work in a childcare center or preschool. Graduates also are prepared for transfer to a four-year university.

Students can earn an associate degree in Family and Consumer Science Education, which prepares graduates for transfer to a four-year university and set the foundation for teaching at the middle or high school level. There is currently a big demand for Family and Consumer Science Teachers across the nation (Including Indiana).

FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES - INTERIOR DESIGN CONCENTRATION, A.S.C.T.

Students can earn an associate degree in Interior Design, which prepares graduates to enter the profession or for transfer to a four-year university. Career options include those in commercial or residential interior design. Students may be employed by interior design studios, architectural firms, home centers, home furnishing retailers, or choose to be a self-employed consultant.

Students can earn an associate degree in Fashion, which prepares graduates for transfer to a four-year university or for employment as department managers, small business owners, buyers and sales representatives. Other career options include Fashion Designer, Fashion Stylist or Consultant, Personal Shopper, Visual Display Artist, and many others.

NUTRITION AND DIETETICS, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, which prepares graduates for transfer to a four-year university in preparation for becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (R.D.N.).
