Reports are reviewed as they come in. The person submitting the report is always contacted
as a form of acknowledgment within 24-72hrs of receipt, depending on severity or seriousness
of report. There may be follow up afterwards, these may vary based again on incident,
severity, confidentiality, FERPA, HIPPA, etc.
The committee regularly meets weekly, however we reserve the right to call an emergency
meeting if need be. Care reports and incidences vary.
The website does give an overview of what Care or a Care report may involve and some
instances in which a Care report may be warranted. It is not an exhaustive list of
all possibilities. Faculty always have the option to contact a department directly
for assistance, the Care report is yet another option.
