What can I expect during my time at VU?
- The program provides essential courses that prepare students to begin their careers as a professional photographer, including three levels of photography that include digital and film experiences. Additionally, two levels of lighting and commercial photography, videography for photographers and two levels of Photoshop and Lightroom are included in the curriculum.
- In addition to photography courses, students will gain experience in graphic design to provide a foundation for designing self-promotional print and web items, along with offering professional products for clients.
- Modern facilities, including a computer lab, professional printing, darkroom, and lighting studio, are used in the creation of student portfolios of work.
What can I do with this degree?
Graduates of this program are prepared for the following employment opportunities: commercial or portrait studio, sports photography, hospital or research laboratory, newspaper, magazine, photo-finishing laboratory, digital imaging service, retail photo sales, or independent business ownership.
