IU Soul Revue will perform at VU on Thursday

VINCENNES, Ind. - The Indiana University Soul Revue will perform at Vincennes University Red Skelton Performing Arts Center on March 22, 7 p.m. (EDT). General admission tickets are $5 at the door. A pre-show “meet and greet” will take place at 6 p.m. for those who would like to meet the performers.

The concert is sponsored by VU’s office of Multicultural Students Affairs.

The IU Soul Revue is touted as America's first and finest collegiate popular music ensemble. Directed by renowned musician James Strong, the Soul Revue presents African-American popular music from the 1960s to today. Founded in 1971, the Soul Revue is a credit-bearing course managed by the African-American Arts Institute at Indiana University Bloomington.

Admission is free for VU employees and students.
