VINCENNES, Ind. - Vincennes University’s Automotive Technology Center was the site of the Automotive program’s first High Performance Saturday on Dec. 2.

With an ever-increasing demand for quality technicians, VU’s Automotive program offers one-year certificates as well as two- and four-year degrees.  The invitation-only High Performance Saturday event was designed for high school students interested in careers in the automotive industry.  Students were provided the opportunity to see and learn about some of the world's most modern and cutting edge automotive technology and to take part in hands-on activities.

Event supporters included Wagler Competition Products, Odon; Bowler Performance Transmissions, Lawrenceville, Illinois; Michiana Diesel Power, Elkhart; Jay Wolf Racing, Vincennes; Brian Fields Racing, Bruceville; and Jerry Ruble Racing, Fritchton.
