VINCENNES, Ind. - A Direct Admit transfer agreement between Vincennes University and Purdue University offers students the benefits of a focused, quality education and seamless transfer to one of the most highly regarded colleges of engineering in the nation.

The VU/Purdue Direct Admit agreement allows VU engineering graduates who meet specified criteria to be directly admitted to Purdue for completion of a baccalaureate degree from the Purdue College of Engineering.

This agreement provides a unique combination of accessibility, affordability, and opportunity. Students will take their first-year classes at the VU Jasper Campus and their second-year classes at the VU Vincennes Campus. Classes will take place in labs and classrooms, rather than in large lecture halls, offering students direct access to their instructors.

VU’s affordable tuition rates make it possible for students to save enough in their first two years to pay for a full year at a four-year college. And students will graduate from VU confident that they are well prepared for upper-level classes and that their credits will transfer with ease.

This agreement follows a long history of partnership between Vincennes University and Purdue University. "In addition to the previously established agriculture track, I'm excited to welcome engineering as another Purdue pathway available on the Jasper Campus. This will allow residents of Dubois County and the region to pursue a Purdue degree locally," noted Christian Blome, assistant vice president and dean of the VU Jasper Campus.

Details about the VU/Purdue Direct Admit agreement are available by contacting the Jasper Campus, 812-481-5918.
