START VU

This is a one day event that will prepare you for the upcoming semester regarding registration, financial aid, student services, and campus life.
 

SCHEDULE

8:30 am: Check-in
9:15 am: Welcome & Opening Session
9:30 am: VUX Review
10:00 am: Break out Sessions
10:30 am: Testing or Advising


Students that are not eligible for registration are required to take the Accuplacer.

StartVU Registration Eligibility

Students are eligible for class registration if they meet one of the following criteria for English and math: (1) transfer credit with a C or better, (2) qualifying SAT or ACT scores, (3) qualifying high school transcript criteria, or (4) qualifying Accuplacer scores.

Accuplacer can be taken on campus by appointment or virtually using Examity. For more information on testing options, please contact the VU Testing Center via email or phone at 812-888-5404.

VU ID Card

In order to submit your photo virtually for your Student ID, please use the preferred email address you have on file with the university to send an email that includes the following items:

  1. Your Full Name
  2. Your Home Mailing Address
  3. Your A Number (Student ID Number)
  4. A headshot that you would like to use as your ID photo (needs to be attached as a .jpg file)

Once your photo has been reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your ID Photo has been approved and that you can expect your ID Card to arrive in the mail.
