AUTHORIZATION FORM NO LONGER NEEDED
For your convenience, beginning January 2, 2008, the Vincennes University license
plate will be available directly from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV).
Just stop by your local BMV and tell them you want to Drive With Pride! University
license plate holders who have a special low plate number (1-100), will still need
to contact the Foundation Office.
FEES
Indiana BMV rules stipulate a minimum fee of $25 be collected in order for Vincennes
University to participate in this program. An additional $15 special recognition
plate fee, along with your annual vehicle registration fees, are assessed by the BMV.
HOW DO I RECEIVE RECOGNITION FOR MY DONATION?
The Indiana BMV will collect the $25 student scholarship donation per license plate
and forward it to the VU Foundation. To be personally credited for this contribution,
be sure to check the waiver on your renewal form (online or in person), giving the
Indiana BMV permission to release your contact information to the Vincennes University
Foundation. Without checking the waiver, your donation comes to the University as
an anonymous gift.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?
Any Indiana resident is eligible to "Drive With Pride." All alumni, students, faculty,
staff, parents, friends and Vincennes University supporters are eligible to receive
the VU license plate.
