Blaze to a Community Cure

The Blaze to a Community Cancer Cure offers a way for the Vincennes community to come together to fight one of the world's most devastating diseases. As awareness grows and participation expands, this fundraiser will continue to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals in our community, helping to bring hope, healing, and ultimately a cure for cancer.

Biology Club & Earth Science Club fundraiser

The Vincennes University Biology Club & Earth Science Club are raising money for an educational trip to Iceland in May of 2025.

Your donation is an investment in hands-on education that extends beyond traditional classroom learning.  This unique opportunity will allow our students to engage directly with Iceland's diverse ecosystems, geological formations, and rich cultural heritage.  Such experiences foster a deeper understanding of biological and earth sciences, offering insights that textbooks alone cannot provide.

Vincennes University Greenhouse Project

WHAT IS THE VU SOCIETY?

The Vincennes University Society is an honorary society of unrestricted funds to the Vincennes University Foundation in support of the unique educational mission of Vincennes University. It was established by the Foundation for the purpose of demonstrating the Foundation’s appreciation for their unrestricted gifts as well as to promote the concept of such giving.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Vincennes University Society donors contribute $100 or more each year. In addition to being honorary members of the Society, donors are recognized in eight divisions according to their level of contributed support. The eight divisions are :

President's Circle ($10,000 or more)

Founder ($5,000 to $9,999)

Executive ($2,500 to $4,999)

Benefactor ($1,000 to $2,499)

Director ($750 to $999)

Fellow ($500 to $749)

Associate ($300 to $499)

Sponsor ($100 to $299) annually

MEMBER BENEFITS

Contributions to the Society are unrestricted charitable gifts which are motivated by a desire to support the University’s mission and the donors do not expect anything of material value in return. The most important dividend they receive as a result of their “investment” in the work of VU is the good feeling they have about themselves for having helped. Tax laws allow them to receive tax benefits as a result of their gifts and the Foundation takes special steps to keep them informed about new developments at the University.
