Apprenticeships

Vincennes University’s U.S. Department of Labor-registered Apprenticeship opportunities offers students in-demand, high-wage, quality career paths, driven by industry partnerships.

Apprenticeship students gain knowledge through on-the-job learning and related classroom training. They can turn these experiences into a degree from Vincennes University.

Vincennes University's 17+ year partnership with the Associated Builders & Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky trains apprentices employed at ABC Member companies, or anyone interested in the commercial and industrial construction industries.

Students in the ABC program earn academic credit towards a college degree while avoiding student debt. The program is designed specifically for ABC Apprentices working to achieve Journeyman Level in the Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC, Pipefitting, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Lineman, or EST Trade through a US Department of Labor approved program. Training and classes fulfill the basic requirements for an Associate of Science Career/Tech Degree.

ABC Training programs are located across Indiana, including Indianapolis, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Muncie, Columbus, and New Albany.
