About the early College online program

As Indiana’s first college, serving students since 1801, Vincennes University continues its tradition of educational excellence by offering the Online Early College Program.

The Online Early College Program offers high school students, including homeschoolers in grades 9-12, a unique opportunity to earn college credits from home. This flexible program allows students to get a head start on their higher education, saving time and money by completing transferable coursework applicable to Indiana public colleges and universities.

Participants can work towards earning at least 30 college credits and the Indiana College Core Certificate of Graduation. The program provides a high-quality education with a robust curriculum taught by experienced faculty, all while helping students build essential skills in time management and self-discipline.

By enrolling in this program, students gain a competitive edge with a solid academic foundation and personalized support to help them achieve their educational and career goals. NACEP Accredited

As the first college in Indiana to offer dual credit back in 1972, Vincennes University has decades of experience helping students get ahead. NACEP Accredited since 2004, VU has continually demonstrated its commitment to maintaining high standards in dual credit education. By becoming an Early College Online partner, your students can earn college credits while still in high school, giving them a head start on their higher education journey.

Tuition and Fees

The cost of the program is $100 per credit hour, making it an incredible value for students. In addition, textbooks are offered at a low cost, further reducing the financial burden on students. When compared to a year at a public university, this represents around a 70% savings, allowing students to invest more in their education and future!
