CLASSES

Aiqin teaches Elementary chemistry (CHEM 100) for health occupational students, general chemistry (CHEM 105) for science major students, and service courses such as Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolants (CHMT100) for non-traditional students.

ACTIVITIES

She participates in a variety of department and college activities such as Program in a box, pinning ceremonies, high school lab days, science Fridays, and other outreach activities.

RESEARCH

The research training during Aiqin’s master, doctoral and postdoctoral graduate studies involved in proteomics, metabolomics, nanomaterials, nanotechnologies, microorganisms, and biosensors, which are all popular research areas in chemistry field. Her master research studied metabolomics and proteomics related to disease biomarker discovery using the most advanced analytical instrumentations. Her Ph.D. work focused on the preparation and study of nanomaterials. In my postdoctoral work, nanotechnologies have been combined with biotechnologies in dealing with food safety related projects.
