I have been involved in education ever since my first teaching job at Flaget Elementary School in Vincennes.  Not only have I had my own classroom, but along the way I have been a bookmobile librarian, a substitute teacher, a secretary, and a department chair at VU. My journey to the English Department has been unique, but it has led me to a job I love: working with college students as they begin their own education journeys.  

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening, baking, bicycling, and traveling.
