Leroy York is a High School Maintenance Program Instructor and has been with Vincennes University since 2014.

Leroy holds a BS degree in Management/Human Recourses from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Aeronautical science/Managements with speculation in Aviation/Aerospace Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well as a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Aeronautical Science Management from Northcentral University.

Leroy holds an FAA, Airframe/powerplant License, a pilot’s license with multi-engine, land, Instrument and commercial endorsements and is a 2013 recipient of the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Charles Taylor “Master Mechanic” Award.

Over the past 60 years, Leroy’s career has allowed him to see the introduction of new technologies, including Boeing 727, 737, 747, 777 and Douglas DC-10 Aircraft. He also spent time in the United State Airforce as an aircraft mechanic, worked for United Airlines, and FedEx Express as an aircraft mechanic, Manager and Project administrator, and has been able to spend time working in Belgium, Canada, and Portugal over the years.
