Students can earn an associate degree in Education-Art, which prepares students for teaching art in grades K-12 and for transfer to a four-year university.

Students can earn an associate degree in Education with an Art Concentration. Graduates are prepared for transfer to a four-year university and for careers as art teachers in K-12 education.

Graduates of this program will have the credentials to transfer to a four-year program in science education at another university or may choose to stay on-campus and complete the Bachelor's degree in Science Education - Biology Concentration at the Vincennes campus.

This program allows students to explore courses in  the three areas of economics, history, or political  science or to begin a concentration in one of the three. Students who are interested in psychology or sociology should check the Behavioral Sciences program and its concentrations.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Education - Certificate of Program Completion in Education, C.P.C.

This Certificate of Program Completion exposes students to a career in Education by providing an opportunity to earn a certificate through 15 hours of coursework which will start them on their path to becoming a teacher.

Education - Intense Interventions Certificate, C.P.C.

The Certificate of Program Completion provides students with the training required in order to teach students in the area of Intense Interventions. Candidates must complete a Bachelor’s Program in Special Education prior to enrolling in the Program. Students completing this certificate program are eligible to sit for the licensing exam in the area of Intense Interventions.
